Tax free threshold for a Minor has increased to $2666

The low-income tax offset has increaesed to $1,200 in 2008/09 (from $750 in 2007/08) which means that
minors (under 18) can receive $2,666 tax-free in the 2008/09 year in un earned income. That is, income not earned from salary and wages.
